I've seen these silhouettes everywhere and I've been wanting to make some for a while. I finally did it. I sort of used this tutorial. I don't think I would do it this way were I to do this again. It would have been much easier to trace the photos onto black card stock.
After I had the profiles in black I mod-podged some scrapbook paper onto a 12x12 board and then mod-podged the silhouettes onto the board. I tried using spray adhesive on Isaiah's and it didn't stick very well. If you look in the picture you can see that there is a huge bubble - I'm pretty sure that's because of the adhesive I used. I should have just used the mod-podge on all of them.
I'm going to hang them in my upstairs hallway - I just have to have John drill some holes in the back so I can get them up. I just lined them up on the mantle so they could dry - I kind of like them there!

Wow, those look like your kids! Nice work.
That is a pretty cool idea.
Cool - I've been wanting to try this too.
I was going to say the same as Kristin! They are very cool - good job.
I know, I love how they actually look like my kids! It's surprising to me how familiar the profile is - who knew!
