I really want to make this cute advent calender. I don't think it would take very long - maybe one evening - and it should be cheap. Anyone up for craft night with this as our craft? Here are two posts about how to make it by Ali Edwards (it's originally a Martha Stewart idea) here and here. On the last post, Ali has a download that someone sent her of good activity ideas to put in the boxes. I might make these boxes instead of this because I think they are SO CUTE.

That's a fun idea Jamie! How is it stuck to the wall?
tacks - that's my one issue with it. I'm trying to come up with a way to hang it up without making 24 holes in the wall. You could put it on a corkboard br something, or use magnets... I'm not sure what I want to do yet.
Is this what you were talking about tonight? I really want to try making this! Did you read the part where she said she did it in one night? We could totally do it!
