Slowly Figuring Things Out

I made these two little items for my friend's daughter who will be three in March. I am also going to make her a little apron. I have been wanting to make this little handbag ever since I got my Bend the Rules Sewing book and I am glad I could practice on this one. I love the way it turned out, but there are definitely things I learned when making it. The wallet still needs a snap and I think I will also add a button, but we'll see.Thanks for all your comments - I love sharing my projects because Jason is so not interested! :) And Mandy, I am totally not an amazing sewer - I am just a beginner and I bet my Mom is laughing her head off at that comment! :) But thanks for your praise - just wait until you get your birthday present...
